ABOUT C-suITe

The name C-suITe Consulting was inspired to reflect the company’s mission in providing Consultancy services that appeals to the decision authorities at the CXO or C-suITe level.

Almost all decisions for expanding, constructing, purchasing, upgrading, demolishing, or even retrofitting any building, especially in the mission critical industry is signed off or approved by a few or at least one representative of the C-suITe level.

The challenge most consultancies in the market face is mostly due to the very technical pitch and approaches that do not cater for the varying background or speciality of an entire C-suITe at the client end.

C-suITe Consulting is not only focused on IT related services, although the emphasis of the letters ‘IT’ is intentional to illustrate that in this era, all mission critical facilities host critical IT services in one form or another, whether that is in terms of services access or data storage.

The mission critical facilities that are currently identified and fall under C-suITe Consulting scope of services includes, but is not limited to:

· Data Centres

· Command Centres

· Switching Centres

· Trading Environments

· Hospitals/Clinics

· Medical Storage

Another perspective for the name C-suITe comes from the software term of ‘Suite’ that commonly refers to a package of software or computer tools. At C-suITe Consulting we believe that state-of-the-art Consulting must be unique, and one of the ways we guarantee that is by the use of our own in-house developed Suite of tools that amalgamates the vast experience gained in the mission critical services globally.

Dr. Hussein Shehata is a UK Chartered Engineer with global experience in data center engineering, digital transformation, and operational excellence. He co-created the world’s first data center rating methodology in 2004, establishing an early, structured framework for assessing resilience, availability, and operational robustness—foundational work that later shaped industry-wide certification practices. He spent nine years at Uptime Institute, holding two senior leadership roles, including Global VP of Education & Learning and EMEA Technical Director. During this period, Dr. Shehata certified hundreds of data centers globally, trained thousands of engineers and operators worldwide, and significantly expanded Uptime’s global education portfolio, scaling both reach and technical depth. He was also a frequent conference speaker, chair, and panelist at major international data center events. In 2016, he contributed to the digital transformation of data center assessment, supporting the move to web-based rating, certification, and benchmarking platforms. Dr. Shehata later joined AWS, where he developed multiple digital tools for data center operations and maintenance, focusing on automation, standardization, and data-driven decision-making across large-scale, globally distributed infrastructure. His work supported improved operational consistency, capacity planning, and lifecycle management at hyperscale. Earlier in his career, Dr. Shehata was a researcher and lecturer in energy efficiency and renewables, delivering Master’s programs, supervising PhD research, and holding a Postgraduate Diploma in Teaching in Higher Education, which underpins his long-standing impact in professional education and capability development.
